PROGRAM MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Friday 14th March
Warangesda Interlude - Walk Back to Warangesda 5:00-6:00pm
Descendants walk back to Warangesda, and generations later, we gather at the top of Peppercorn Lane to carry the fire. In 1924, the residents of Warangesda were forcibly removed from their homes and lands, leading to further displacement and dispossession.
We retrace generational footprints participating in a spiritual reclamation of our survival and reaffirming our connection to the land and our sense of belonging to this place.
We bring the songs back among the Trees as Songman Elijah Ingram sings us back on country. We light the fire and welcome the people back to Warangesda, back in Wiradjuri country.

Now, she’s bringing it all back, and you don’t want to miss it!
