Enjoy a bushtucker menu before theatre under the stars with Michael Lyons, a Wiradjuri Elder who has accumulated a wealth of information about his ancient culture.

Serving commences at 7:00pm on Friday, February 17th.

The menu includes Finger foods entrees, slow-cooked Kangaroo pie with peas, Murray cod salad and chips, Stir-Fried Kangaroo and Rice,

Wattleseed Ice Cream, with Quandong or Kakadu plum syrup, Wattleseed Brownies and Lemon Myrtle Cheesecake.


Meet Michael Lyons

Michael Lyons is a Wiradjuri Elder who has accumulated a wealth of information about his ancient culture.

Michael's artworks are displayed all over the world, and in 2013, he was invited to France to showcase his culture. Michael has appeared on various tourism tv shows, Visit NSW and in magazines. Visitors from all over the world have been coming to see his works for over 30 years.

Not only does he sell Artefacts and Artworks, but he offers tours of his workshops and surrounding land. Tours may vary, but can include Burial sites, Burial Trees, Canoe Trees, Bush Walks, Koori Beach, Wetlands, Bush Medicine, Bush Food Supply, Storytelling, Didgeridoo Playing and a home-made meal cooked from traditional bush foods. Tours are available from small private groups to large school groups, appropriate for all ages.
